UCMAS is aglobally recognised brain development programme that pioneered the use of the abacus as a tool for developing mental arithmetic and cognitive skills. Originating in Malaysia in 1993, UCMAS has expanded its presence to more than 80 countries worldwide.
Through its internationally established methodology, UCMAS combines abacus based learning with mental arithmetic to help children strengthen essential cognitive abilities such as concentration, memory, observation, imagination, creativity and logical thinking.
As a skills development programme, UCMAS aims to equip children with abilities that extend beyond mathematics and support their learning and personal development in the long term.
